Salary:     £21,500 – £25,500 dependent on experience
Location: Waterloo Lodge School
Hours:      8.30am-5.30pm

We’re looking for an English Teacher to join Waterloo Lodge School team. Someone with a good knowledge of the GCSE requirements would be perfect for this role.


About the School

Waterloo Lodge is an independent specialist day school for boys and girls aged from 11 to 16, catering for children with a wide range of needs in Lancashire, Manchester and surrounding areas. Our dedicated team work together to ensure successful outcomes for pupils who often arrive at the school with a troubled view of education and life.

About the Role

Under the reasonable direction of the Head Teacher and Senior Leadership Team, the successful candidate will be expected to lead Literacy across the school encouraging other staff to promote literacy across the curriculum.  

You will have the opportunity to develop the English curriculum (broadly in line with The National Curriculum) as you feel would best suit the needs of our pupils.
